Every Kindle I've ever owned (6 with the O2) needed charging if it sat unused for more than a month. For that matter, every laptop I've ever owned was the same. Checking my O2, it lost 1% sitting closed for 12 hours. That's with wifi on, and I'm not going to check with it off. Can't say I think that's a big negative or even matters to me at all. My curiosity about my O2's battery is officially satisfied now.
