Thanks; I also finally called Audible and ended up having to use Chrome, as Firefox still wouldn't work, even after clearing the browser history.

With Firefox, I was able to put the books in the sales cart; I would see the "proceed to checkout" button and click it; then I would see the "confirm purchase" button and click it; and then I'd once again get the "proceed to checkout" button, over and over.

I don't believe I've used a 2-for-1 sale since Audible changed to this current method with that banner at the bottom of the page, so maybe it never worked properly with Firefox and I'm just discovering it now. I've never had a problem using Firefox for nonsale purchases, including one today.
