Double Column: Edge fills the open window with one or two columns - reduce the width of the window and Edge goes to one column.

Fonts, etc.: Right click in the open window and select "Show or hide toolbar". Gives fonts, text to sound, background color (called "Page theme" with limited choices), bookmarks, contents, etc.
