If you had my eyes you would. I can't keep my eyes focused correctly when using front-lit eReaders (it's like I'm trying to focus on two levels and it doesn't work for me). As much as I don't like LCD screens for reading, it's easier for me to read on my Fire or Blackberry Q10 than it is on a front-lit reader. Since my Nook Simple Touch w/Glowlight is "primitive" and not as bright as modern front-lit readers, I can do better on it -- but after 20 or 30 minutes I'm pretty much done on that one also. I can read for hours at a time with my non-lit eReader and a lighted case.
