It appears that there is a new group of ebooks that have been added to the Kindle Exclusives. What that means is that there is a new round of cheap Whispersync deals available!

For the newbies out there, there used to be quite a few Whispersync deals available for as little as about 10 bucks, and some as low as about 3 bucks. But no more. While the price of the ebook part remained at or about the same, Amazon and/or the publishers raised the price of the audio narration to where it is really tough now to find a deal for less than 10 bucks, and that threshold is on ebooks that are short.

There is only one exception, that I know of, to this situation. That is on the "Kindle Exclusives." The prices of most, if not, all of the ebooks is great, and more importantly the prices on the audio narration are at least as good. There are quite a few deals that run only about $2.48 ($0.99--ebook + $1.49--ebook)!

I know what some of you are thinking--"Yes, but Amazon and its (now many) imprints aren't any good." Well, they still _might_ not yet measure up to the likes of a Simon & Schuster, Hachette, Macmillan, _et al._, but they have quite a few titles/series that are well known and/or have great ratings. And there are probably some hidden jewels among the selection. Besides, if you are financially tapped out, wouldn't you rather have something that you can afford to listen to, than to have _nothing_ at all?

Here's the URL for the current Kindle Exclusives selection. The only filtering that I've done is to have only the ebook titles which have Whispersync narration available, and to
sort the hits by price, low to high. https://amazon.com/s/ref=is_r_p_n_fe...=digital-text#.
