I know that... I'm a software engineer and system engineer since 1980... so I am well aware of all this. I just wanted to make sure that an out of the box virgin Kobo would not track former settings that would screw things up.
Looks like it's not related to the system, not even the books themselves...
Then I imported everything from a Kobo Aura (1st generation), including exporting the SQLite content and importing it to the H2O...
Nothing changes no matter what kind of "environment" I set... :-(
