Perception is everything. If they think they can, and it makes them happy...

I've heard tell of blind taste test with wine where the tasters couldn't tell a difference between a $20 bottle of wine and a $200 bottle of wine. I never seen the actual study, so I can't say if it's accurate or not. I would not be surprised if most people can't tell the difference though.
