So, I'm afraid it looks like another amendment to the plugin is required to make it fully functional again.

Please, take the answer with a grain of salt. I'm uploading dates with the plugin, with no problem... aside of duplicated read dates. I'm not going to finish a book till tomorrow, but I'll be back with the answer of the test.
