Connect your Oasis to a PC via USB. Look in the "documents" folder for a file with the name and ASIN corresponding to your book. See if the file extension is .azw (MOBI format), .azw3 (KF8 format) or .kfx (KFX format). For example the file "Down and Out~ Purgatory_B01EO8D5KU.kfx" is in KFX format.

I recommend removing the book and re-downloading it using the Kindle user interface to be sure that it has been downloaded directly from Amazon.
