Not 100% sure about your device, but on my Max 2, in the settings, there is an option for cloud backups. Also, there is similar sounding option in the Play Store app. If I remember correctly. I personally have tried neither but you might find them worthwhile to take a look at.

I have decided to sync my documents to Dropbox using the DropSync app.
