"60 Minutes" had a piece on John Le Carre last night. Actually, his books are about spies, which may be more "thriller" than "mystery". Those are frequently lumped together though. [And I just realized that this isn't the "mystery" thread, so it doesn't MATTER!]

Anyway, that made me realize that, while I knew his name, I haven't read them! At least, not since 2008 when I've been keeping a list.

So I've downloaded the sample for John Le Carre's first book, since starting in order is very much my thing too. 1961, "Call for the Dead".
