Today we reported the fraudster using our store's name and Chamber of Commerce number to defraud people on Facebook.
The officer was very honest about the chances that it was going to be investigated, since we haven't got any monetary, "just" possible damage of reputation. This is something we had also figured out. But we wanted to give the police all the information we have gathered over the past week; name of FB profile, name in FB URL (different from his profile) and the two bank account numbers and two different names connected to those accounts. If someone who did get defrauded reports it to the police, they will have more information.
Meanwhile, the fraudster removed all his ads from the marketplace on Facebook. There are two ads that mention his name, that he copied those ads and used it to defraud people.
The whole process took almost two hours. But hopefully it'll help.
