I appreciate the recommendation of a stylus, but I already lose my Itouch 4 times or so a day. I'd never keep track of the stylus.
Yes, those things are important, but mostly when you have the internal lighting. If you have a regular reading light, ALL ereaders are easy to read from despite differences in resolution, clarity and contrast. As soon as you add an internal light, you lose contrast, so these things become more important.
Can you not read a newspaper as easily as a magazine? They vary considerably in resolution and contrast, but both are easy provided you are able to read them at all (vision problems).
