I'd be tempted, but I've heard that Goodkind's novels contain content that I probably wouldn't enjoy. (Got into a lot of discussions about Sword of Truth back when Legend of the Seeker was on. Now see, I don't much care for fantasy. Particular lengthy fantasy epics. The one thing that sounded interesting to me was to see how he would incorporate Ayn Rand-ian ideas into a story featuring wizards and dragons.

From your post, I suspect I would agree with you. Ayn Rand was a nut. But it does potentially give this fantasy series a unique spin.
