Device: bug
I observed wifi connection to be triggered automatically.
I even observed wifi connection being on after wakeup from sleep.
Right now I have only few 3rd party apps installed, namely hacker's keyboard, termux, bVNC
and F-Droid. I instructed F-Droid not to automatically check for updates,
so I guess I can rule out these apps are responsible.

How can I track down what triggers automatic connection?
Is it possible that a process triggers connection while device is sleeping?
Randomly turning wifi on after wakeup would be a bug.

EDIT: After having a closer look at the full settings, there might be some options worth disabling:
- Location
- Security --> Apps with usage access
- Google --> Security --> Google play protect
I could imagine one of those is responsible for switching wifi on after wakeup.

What's funny is that airplane mode doesn't prevent me from activating wifi.
ENDEDIT

Also battery live is somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes it decreases rapidly without
any relevant consumers switched on. After 4 hours of sleep (when wifi was on after
wakeup), it had decreased 15%.

In general I always wondered if it's a difference charging the device if powered off or not.
Android devices will automatically start when plugged in, does it harm powering them
off after that (which I always did, but there is for example this charger file in root tree).

Onyx reader or whatever the default reader is called does not show up in the multitask window.
Or only for short under special conditions.

In general I wonder what the best way is for switching between apps with just one action.
