And don't forget to remove the jumper completely(to make it use the same voltage as PW2 output, 1.8v), and also before start, make sure that the battery of PW2 is well charged.

This is the Ft232rl adapter I bought, seems to match the one
Irenicus described.
The adapter should arrive sometime next week, and I'll be trying this serial port >
>MOD<< so I can always keep a backdoor available.
