One thing to keep in mind if you lean toward the Paperwhite is that you would think it is time for Amazon to update it since the basic Kindle and the Oasis both have bluetooth and Audible support. It would be a little surprising for Amazon to not update the Paperwhite this year.
It does appear that the OP is leaning toward the Oasis, so it wouldn't be an issue.
