I voted yes, mainly because I don't trust the publishers to do it unobtrusively. However, if the ebook was done in the style of the wowio free books (cover image embedded with my name and crediting the advertiser, and a screen of advertisements at the beginning and end of the book would be all right by me. Ads interspersed with the content of the book would be bad. Of course, if the ads were excerpts for other books, at the end of the ebook, that would be tolerable also. In the 70s some of my SF paperbacks had a glossy ad for cigarettes in the center of the book (or maybe for the SF book club), I hated that too.
