Obviously there is some sort of session management built in.

In full settings you go
Security -> Screen lock

and you can choose between Pattern, Pin and Password.

I'm glad it's disabled by default.
I had overlooked that one. (I have never used adb).
I ... (using Windows 7)
  • enabled USB debugging
  • have downloaded and unzipped sdk-tools
  • have downloaded the google usb drivers
  • when I connect the Max 2, in the device manager the "ADB interface" is missing drivers
  • when I rightclick "Update drivers" and point into the directory of the (unzipped) google drivers, it says "driver software not found

What am I doing wrong?
