And, it's got a pretty good bang for the buck, with a page count of the ebook of 150+.
And the book is, according to reviews, a real eye-opener.
It's _You Have the Right to Remain Innocent_, by James Duane.
Very good ratings, a bestseller, etc., etc.
I don't know how long the marked-down price on the ebook will last.

Confession time.
After making that post, I found out that the ebook is one of the currently featured "Kindle Exclusives." I know little about them, but apparently they change from time to time. Many of you will know far more about them than I do.
The "bad" news first. It looks as though all of the titles are either Amazon-published or published by one of their imprints. There may be some backlist titles from some major publishers thrown in, also. This does not make me regret making the post--the results of my vetting of the ebook/audiobook that I posted were very favorable, as I indicated.
The "good" news. I looked over a bunch of the Kindle Exclusives, and it appeared that all of the titles which have Whispersync companions (for newbies out there, the audiobook component of the deal) are priced at $1.99! Furthermore, some of of the ebooks are only 99 cents, so there are some Whispersync deals out there for only $2.98 ($1.99 + $0.99)!
However, all of this has made me wax nostalgic over the good ole days when the cheap Whispersync deals were in such relative abundance . . . .
