Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse, but am I right in saying that this firmware is a 'special case' like 5.8.9.0.1 - where a downgrade can be successful, and the unit can be jailbroken if done right? (I.E Not trying to downgrade to 5.7, which cases boot loops and bricks the device, like in my previous case.)
I'm reading conflicting information, and obviously don't want to brick a second unit for no reason.

Wont try anything until advised this time!
