Around Scotland: A Scottish Travelogue by
Paul Brown
Loch Ness and the Great Glen
"This brilliant book is ostensibly an account of a trip around the northern parts of Scotland made by a group of Explorer Scouts. However it is also a travel guide, providing lots of helpful information about where, and where not, to stay/visit, and a history book, including lots of information about the history of the area that was visited. The author has a very dry, non-PC sense of humour so I was frequently laughing out loud as I read it."
It was an Explorer Scout trip, but listen, the Scout Association probably won't endorse this book
