I don't know if that's because you pressed a key, or the device is booting into diags on its own at startup, but that 'E. Export FAT partition' option is the one I was thinking of to get to the usb drive.


It looks like this device is booted up in diags mode, so I think you have to do the login on that.

There's a post here somewhere saying how to get the password for the account - it is different for each serial #

After the console shows 'Welcome to Kindle', you can press enter to put in username and password. The serial number is in that log file to use to create the password for that device.
