No mountains but the towers are anywhere from 15 to 30 miles from town.
Also NBC has not upgraded their transmission since the 1970s. I can't even pick it up with an aerial antenna.
I talked to all 3 locals to find out where the towers are located.
Oh and one other little thing I learned with a small indoor antenna. Do not place it between a refrigerator and the TV. I thought the station was having a feed problem at 245 every day. Turns out, the refrigerator motor was kicking in. I moved the antenna and now it works better.
Note: my kitchen and bedroom share a wall.
