For the moment the use I am making of Max2, as a musician, is mainly:
1) Mobile library (over the years I have created an ordered music archive) to use when I teach (I do not have to bring any books to school) and when I'm away from home and I find a piano on which I can study
2) Archive of school documents (allows me not to print a lot of paper)
3) Internet (reading of newspapers and forums, no video and multimedia)
4) Obviously reading of non-musical texts.
For live performances I do not think I trust any electronic device due to its intrinsic unpredictability, however reliable it may be.
Then there are different types of performances: in a few days I will direct an orchestra of students and I will use the Max2 (first time ...), but I could also direct the song by heart ...
If I had to play the piano, I do not think I would use it (usually the soloists play by heart, but in the chamber groups the score is used).
I will try, however, other specific apps and maybe change my mind.
