The renderings themselves, on the logical side, are possibly identical.
I have Max2 for a few days. At first I was disappointed that the screen is a bit grayish and so the contrast is not that high. I thought about returning but after using it a few days I cannot see any problem. I can read it in normal room conditions without any tiredness - it's not too dark, it's like reading a cheap daily newspaper. Actually in the summer it will be an advantage when I take it outdoors to read in the sunshine
