Based on your experience with the 2-in-1, I'm interested to know whether the Surface still appeals to you or have you now gone off the whole idea of a super-tablet?

The 2-in-1 makes for a fine laptop and there are times I'll be glad I can fold the keyboard back and use it that way, but not enough to really matter.
I wanted something for drawing and the laptop with the keyboard folded back and propped up on my lap for drawing, which is how I like to draw with my tablet, is just too awkward to be fun. It's entirely doable and I have done it a few times with decent results, but it's just not fun and I draw for fun.
For everything else the device is just fine.
I do most of my drawing now on a 10" Samsung Galaxy Tab A with S Pen and that works fine. I probably should have just stuck with that for drawing.
I should mention that another part of my disappointment is that I found I really prefer the Android apps for drawing after all. I hadn't expected that. Still, I think if I had a Surface I'd like the Windows apps more than I do.
