I am curious. What chipset is the USB on the computer where the H2O2 has trouble? Is the USB driver up-to-date? Go to the manufacturer's (of the USB chipset) website and see if they have a newer driver. If not, try the computer manufacturer's website.
I know this isn't USB, but when I got my laptop, the audio sometimes made crackling noises. I went to the chipset manufacturer's website, found a newer driver, installed it and the problem was solved.
