I don't know when this particular new feature was added, but I just encountered it on my H2O after updating to 4.7. I'd just sideloaded some books, and a popup window came up that listed five or six books I'd accidentally opened, observed that they were at 1% and hadn't been touched in a while, and kindly offered to flag them as Unread.

The unexpected, and quite annoying, part is that when I said yes, it moved those right to the top of my Recent sort, inconveniently burying the books I'd just loaded under several that it knew I wasn't interested in at present. A much better option would've been to record the last-open dates for the affected books, flip the books to Unread, then "touch" the books to set the last-mod dates to the recorded ones. That way, nothing moves in the list.
