This seems more than a bit condescending. Of course I know how to customize my displays, brightness, various reading apps etc etc., and undoubtedly so do most of the people who read on dedicated e-readers. No matter which way I set something up, though, my tablet and my phone never deliver as good a reading experience as my Kindles. I don't doubt that it isn't so for you, but it is for me. People are different and their preferences are different.
