I rarely read books immediately after I purchase them. It's normal for me to comb through my library looking for something that sounds good at that moment. My last book and my current one are both books I picked up years ago (separate from each other) that happened to sound good now.

I don't see the problem myself. If you aren't going without so you can buy new books, what's the issue?
