Quite pleased to see this turn up.
Elfstones of Shannara was the same price a couple of years ago when that book was adapted for Season 1 of the television series. Season 2 involved some time travel so we did eventually get introduced to Shea and saw a bit of Shady Vale.
I've seen it mentioned quite a few times that the first book was very heavily influenced by
The Lord of the Rings, so it's going to be interesting to see just how fair that comparison is. When I get around to it, of course
