I get the idea. It's not a bad one. I just don't think it's a very practical one from an ebook retailer's point of view.

That's is a matter of perspective. I'm not privvy to ebook retailers' considerations on the subject but it seems a stretch to propose that the book "literally breaks" when a few videos temporarily don't play.
