Suggestions:
Make sure that you have a Wi-Fi connection so that the kindle can download the cover from Amazon.
Verify that the ASIN is correct and the book is not marked as a person document by long pressing the cover thumbnail and selecting "View on Goodreads". That should take you to a screen showing the Goodreads information for the book.

"View on Goodreads" and "Book description" option both showing correct book info. My device is KOA2.
