I've have connected the device and copied epub files to the device.
I've tried calibre & adobe digital edition 4.5 .
Calibre gives me a notice

Your Kobo is running an updated firmware/database version. As calibre does not know about this updated firmware, database editing is disabled, to prevent corruption. You can still send books to your Kobo with calibre, but deleting books and managing collections is disabled. What does this mean. It really should not be this complicated to place my old file of epub books on a new device.
