@knc1 Thanks for the password.

Registered my Kindle, copied the .bin file to topmost level of usb and still the UYK option is greyed out. After mutiple tries saw that the .bin file is being deleted as soon as I safely remove my Kindle.

Edit: I had already connected it to calibre prior to downgrading the firmware and transfered a couple of books. Should I reset my kindle and try ?

Edit2: Reset done(unregistered now), copied the .bin file still UYK is greyed out.
