My kindle fire had a very slow sensitivity, especially when playing a game that required fast tapping. The problem is not the screen sensibility. That cannot be adjusted. The issue is the screen magnifier. It needs to be turned off. Go to settings, accessibility, you will see a tab for screen magnifier. Turn it off, and problem solved, sensitivity will return to normal. Took me 4 months to figure it out... But did it!!
