Of course! It's part of the job. It is required to develope it and practice it. Which is a good thing also because it reinforces the KISS principle.
That matter with the cloud is quite complex, I was informed only recently that MS has two infrastructures, one vulnerable one protected. This, because my big 'O' embraced. I have not yet check thoroughly though. The past 10 years have been so MS-negligible.
Anyway, they are paid to find solutions.
