Cleared the snow (still powdery and sweepable) off the cars and steps ... and found a layer of ice underneath on the steps ... hope it got sunny enough for the Ice Melt to clear the steps before tonight's big chill ...
I waited until the thermometer was above 30 F, but the winds were howling at 30 mph or more, ....so I bundled up in a T-shirt, under a sweatshirt, under a wool scarf, under a Dickies quilted hooded work grade parka, with a Duluth Trading eared cap, over insulated ski pants, with 2 pair of socks inside Adidas ski boots. And I was still cold.
But I did remember to throw out extra squirrel and bird food ....
