It was purchased for her (by a brother) as the best way to get the classical and/or Christian radio channels that she wanted. Her new senior-living apartment has very poor radio reception, and she's been listening to these channels forever before the move. Now she just asks for the radio station by name. No music package from amazon, just radio channels. She's happy.
Oh, and she's learned to ask about weather too.
