I cannot ignore it as I am sure it going to be a different add every other page, even if there are 5 different adds embedded, they are going to swap places and I will be distracted and violently snatched from the imaginary world that the book has created and taken me into.
Although, to a certain degree, I would agree with you about similarities with buttons, frame and general hardware appearance of the reader. That is the main reason I would never buy Kindle. Its fugly keyboard would completely destroy my reading environment/experience. That's why I love Sony Reader, it reminds me so much of a real book.

P.S. Kindle club wannabes please don't divert the topic to a holy war, take your anger with me somewhere else.
