I may be confused and not know what the origional poster is referring to but as long as your collections are by amazon they are stored on the cloud and automatically show up on all your devices you register to your amazon account. It all moves over but if you have books from other than amazon those do not get stored on Amazons servers so you will have to side load them again. I do not know why you want to have two folders Named Stephen King when you only need one?? If you have books to side load, once you reload them again you should be able to add them to the existng collection again
