Sorry, but I don't get that interpretation at all.

On occasion, I have had other vendors ship me the wrong item entirely. Mistakes happen.

So, to me, it just seems to be that the vendor is attempting to confirm that the buyer did indeed receive a Max 2 and not some other device by mistake.

I do not read any sarcasm in the quoted post.
