I have a Lenovo A10 70 and my wife has the equivalent 8" tablet. These aren't the high end Yoga tablets but solid "generic" android devices. We like them very much. Both tablets have an SD slot (not micro). I used to store many books on the tablet itself, but have since moved them to Microsoft OneDrive.

I use both the Kindle app and the epub Moon Reader Pro. Moon Reader claims it's only for smartphones, but it works just fine on my Lenovo.
