I made an editorial call on that one, Froide; it always seemed awkward to me and its original purpose was served long ago. As it falls out now, we've got stickies for the most popular the genre threads and two omnibus threads, fiction and nonfiction, for everything else and the new title reflects that better. I'll also note that the generic
Fiction thread is by far the least posted to and viewed; I think it might serve more of a purpose with its new title as more inclusive of all fiction that doesn't fit into the specific genre threads. People won't have to hunt for a dormant thread for something neither in a genre sticky nor doesn't quite fall under the old rubric.
