Another candidate is Qupzilla. It's based on the Qt framework and runs on Windows, OS/X, Linux, and other things. The last I looked it ran on XP.

It looks a lot like Chrome to sites you visit, and you can diddle the user agent string it sends in response to a what browser are you query to make it identify as Chrome if you visit sites that don't think it's supported.
