Thanks for the help. Segoe 9pt is the font that was set. Reducing it even further does not change anything.

I do not comprehend what you are suggesting regarding gui.json. I am happy to try it, but would like to know better what it is I am to do.

My windows screen layout is not set to Recommended. On my system, the Resolution is, but the scaling is changed from 100% (Recommended) to 150%. I expect that may be the problem, although it never created a problem until Calibre version 11. I have been unable to resize the Generate Cover window, but it has not been a problem, so I did not mention it. Eliminating custom scaling fixed that in Calibre version 10, but since it affects my overall system, it is like the tail wagging the dog.
