I am off today so i spent a little more time reading and I can litterally see the battery bar go down. Now its down to about 20% battery life. Now amazon boast 6 weeks battery life on light level 10 and 30 minutes of reading a day not using wifi. So an hour a day I would think will at least give me 3 weeks reading. I have BARELY used the Oasis. maybe 30 to 45 mins reading after work. It should not drain this much? Compared to a cell phone and some tablets its still better charging but Amazon should have been more realistic on battery life expectations.
Try whatever light level you want that's 10 or lower and read 30 minutes a day and see what sort of battery life you get. If it's not close enough to what Amazon advertised, call CS and see what they have to say.
