Although I'd rather pay a premium for an ebook without ads, if the choice was between an ebook with ads or a paper book, I'd go for the ebook. I already read magazines with ads on my DR1000S and although they are a little annoying it doesn't ruin the experience. With novels it may be a little different though, because if you are immersed in the story and the next page is an advert that could pull you out.
