Well I've been using an iPad for years, and I tried writing/sketching on it - and hated it. The screen surface is much too smooth, and I found the various styli I used to be very imprecise (mind you, I never tried an iPad Pro and Apple Pen).

OTOH, the iPad has the CPU power to make very nice apps run smoothly - it's just that the medium doesn't feel right to me.
